This position requires a compassionate and organized individual who is knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. The Office Nurse will be responsible for managing patient records, assisting with medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role is essential in supporting the healthcare team and enhancing the overall patient experience. Duties Provide direct patient care by assessing patient needs and documenting relevant medical histories. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with established protocols. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment. Educate patients on health management, treatment plans, and medication instructions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices to enhance patient care delivery. Qualifications Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for understanding patient conditions. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or healthcare setting. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation processes. Strong understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally. A valid nursing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
