Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with establishedpolicies, procedures and protocols of the healthcareorganization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record andcommunicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs withmembers of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hiredate or job transfer date required. American Heart Association orAmerican Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date required. American Heart Association or American RedCross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialedfrom the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board ofNursing OR current home state license for multi-state licenserecognition ‘Compact State’ obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Requiredprofessional licensure at time of hire.
