Facilityin Nashville, TN Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking askilled Operating Room RN for a 12 week travel assignment inNashville, TN. Required Qualifications:

One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) Other certifications and licenses may be required for thisposition

Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse providescomprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process,ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgicalprocedures. This role involves preparing the operating room,managing surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgicalteam to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The OR RNcollaborates with multidisciplinary teams and adheres to thehighest standards of patient safety, infection control, andprofessional ethics in a dynamic surgical environment.

EssentialWork Functions:

Prepare the operating room by ensuring all requiredinstruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready andfunctional for each surgical procedure Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery,addressing concerns and ensuring comfort and safety according toprocedural requirements Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures andadhering to infection control protocols and sterile technique Anticipates the needs of the surgical team providinginstruments, supplies, and support promptly to maintain efficientworkflow Monitors patient’s condition during surgery, documentingsignificant changes and notifying the surgeon of any significantchanges Handles surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring theirproper use, sterilization, and disposal according to facilityprotocols Manage specimen collection, labeling, and transport accordingto facility protocols, ensuring accurate diagnostic results Documents all aspects of patient care in the perioperativesetting accurately and thoroughly Participate in patient handoff communication during pre

• andpost-operative phases ensuring continuity of care Assist in cleaning and restocking the operating room betweencases, adhering to infection control and turnover protocols Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance withfacility policies, procedures, and standards Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including properuse of PPE and infection prevention measures Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Essential Skills:

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills The ability to read, write, & communicate in the Englishlanguage is required Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbalinstructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities

• Remain in a stationary position, moveabout, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills
• To work effectively with a variety ofpersonnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positiveattitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills
• Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting withprocedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements
