6:1 on Acute Care 4:1 on Neuro stepdown Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 1 RN Charge is over all of 10 tower, 1-2 Techs and a unit secretary.
Type of equipment:
Acute Care side: Vital sign machine, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and various drips. All things stroke.
Neuro stepdown:
Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titrating cardiac drips.
Documentation system:
Meditech Scheduling requirements: This depends on schedule, Weekends shifts are required.
Floating policy:
. Experience nurses can float after orientation.
Patient Experience requirements:
Bedside shift report, personal connection, and daily huddle.
