Giving preoperative instructions Preparing patients for surgery Performing comprehensive pre-operative assessments Assisting the Anesthetist and Surgeons when needed Sterilizing incision sites Intervening when there are complications Accurate and thorough record keeping Administering medications Assist Surgical Technologist with preparation of the operating room Monitoring vital signs and status of the post-operative patient Assisting the post-operative patient with dressing and discharge Must have prior RN experience. Valid TN RN license is required. ICU experience is a plus.
