Job Overview:

Under general supervision, is responsiblefor surveys and investigations in health care facilities forcompliance with Federal regulations and State rules; and performsrelated work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involvesgathering and analyzing data from healthcare providers andfacilities to assess compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, conductingsurveys, observations, and interviews, and interpreting legalstandards to identify non-compliance. The position also requiresdocumenting findings according to strict protocols, coordinatingteam activities during inspections, and communicating results tovarious stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality. Emphasisis placed on decision-making, problem-solving, and planning toensure effective and efficient regulatory oversight.

MinimumQualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or universitywith a bachelor’s degree in nursing and experience equivalent tothree (3) years of full-time increasingly responsible professionalnursing work. A valid registered nurse license in good- standing isrequired, OR Completion of an approved Practical Nursing programand passing score on the National Council Licensure Examination forPractical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and (5) five years of full-timeexperience in hospitals, long term care facilities, ESRD, skillednursing facility experience, OR Bachelors degree in Social Work andclinical experience in a hospital and/or long-term care facility,with experience in discharge planning, admissions,interdisciplinary care coordination, etc., OR Bachelors degree inDietetics or Nutrition or related field and clinical experience ina hospital and/or long-term care facility, with experience indischarge planning, admissions, interdisciplinary carecoordination, etc.
