  • Professional development and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary 15-30 cases/day 8 hour shifts 6:45am-3:15pm or 12 hours 7a-7p Call is required 7 days with 1 weekend Essential Functions
  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medicationadministration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as wellas other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, andambulation.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and providespatient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition,and circumstances.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess abachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additionalrequirements include:
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days ofhire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
