Under the direct supervision of the designated HeadNurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentalsof the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment andthe development of the nursing care plan, and participates in theevaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individualpatients or an entire patient population.
Qualifications:
MinimumEducation Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s degree (BSN)preferred. Minimum of six (6) months’ recent experience as aprofessional nurse. Required Skills Demonstrated proficiency of 50 percent of the skills required forLevel II. Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 30 days ofhire ACLS current or within 1 year of hire PALS current or within 1 year of hire Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within in 1 year of hireRequired Licenses Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
