Job Duties:
Proper management of wound care by treating and monitoring wounds that are the result of disease, injury, or medical treatments. Assist with providing care that quickly and safely heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. Assess the wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds. Wound Care Nurse Requirements Current valid LPN or RN license in State Previous wound care experience Wound care certification is preferred At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a Long Term Care Setting preferred
