Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and care for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provide direct patient care by taking a patient assignment as needed and attend deliveries as the nursery delivery nurse.
Education:
Bachelors in Nursing required
Certification & Licensures:
Registered Nurse & BLS required. Fetal Monitoring Instructor within 6 months of hire required
Experience:
Must have 5 to 10 years’ experience working in OB
