Job Summary AndQualificationsCritical Care NurseRegistered nurses provide andcoordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsiblefor collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teammembers to provide physical and psychological support to patientsand their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurseinclude but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments,developing individualized plans of care, medication administration,documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, andcommunication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role: You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings,clean wounds, and monitor vital signs. You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, andmonitoring for patients. You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplinesfor well-coordinated patient care. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition asappropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. You will assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planningneeds with members of your healthcare team.

What qualifications youwill need: RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board ofNursing from a compact state. Bachelor’s degree is preferred BLS required Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from nonICU area Specialty certification preferred One to two years clinical nursing preferred ICU experience required.
