Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoingdiagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in theCardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Assess, prepare and positionpatients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamicmonitoring as necessary.
• Prepare, implement and document plan ofcare. Communicate patient’s condition to physician before, duringand after procedures.
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic,therapeutic and interventional procedures.
• Perform set up andprovide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hiredate or job transfer date required. American Heart Association orAmerican Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month(30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• LicensedRegistered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of NursingOR current home state license for multi-state license recognition”Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer daterequired.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college ofnursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
