Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care inaccordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record andcommunicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs withmembers of the healthcare team.

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date orjob transfer date required. American Heart Association or AmericanRed Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Boardof Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state licenserecognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing ORRequired professional licensure at time ofhire.
