Overview We are seeking a dedicated and (CVICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from cardiac surgery and other cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Perform advanced nursing procedures such as spinal taps and CT scans as needed. Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status, ensuring timely interventions. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, recovery processes, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the CVICU to enhance patient outcomes. Provide support for patients with developmental disabilities and those requiring hospice palliative medicine. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous experience in critical care or emergency medicine is preferred. Knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care. Experience working with outpatient services is a plus. Familiarity with workers’ compensation law is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
