Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care inaccordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record andcommunicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs withmembers of the healthcare team.

Registration:

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) ofhire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Associationor American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date orjob transfer date required. American Heart Association or AmericanRed Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Boardof Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state licenserecognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date orjobtransfer date required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing ORRequired professional licensure at time ofhire.
