Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Responsibilities:
Completes nursing history and initiates patient education. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members. Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis. Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision. Introduces new employees/students to unit routines. Participates on unit-based committee/serves as council representative. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education :
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
New graduate within 1st year of orientation.
License Requirement:
Valid Tennessee RN license. CPR required.
