Other acute care areas include EmergencyRoom, Critical Care, Med/ Surge and Telemetry RN Market Float Pool Full Time Nights Position Summary Under the supervision of the Area Manager and Director, the FloatPool RN is defined as a nurse that is competent in both Med/Surgeand Telemetry nursing who coordinates and provides care to patientsutilizing nursing skills for assessment, planning, implementationand evaluation. These areas include Neuro, Cardiac, Ortho,Oncology, Acute Rehab, Behavioral Health and Multi-Specialty. TheFloat Pool RN will be required to float between 2 areas at bothfacilities in accordance with the Float Pool Staffing Agreement andhospital policy.
Education:
Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program.
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of recent hospital based M/Snursing experience.
Licensure/Certs:
Current RN license to practice in the state of TN.Current American Heart Association issued BLS certification priorto start date.
ACLS & PALS
preferred depending on unit assigned.
