Coordinate patient needs and possible escalation of treatment with physicians and patients when changes in patient conditions are present. Responsible for the implementation of orders provided by the physician. Compile summaries of patient status and data over the course of monitoring. Provide detailed correspondence and communication with physicians on patient progress. Education/Formal Training Requirements Associate’s Degree Nursing

• RN Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
• RN Work Experience Requirements Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare industry experience as a Registered Nurse.

Synthesizes multiple sources of information to assist in the resolution of human responses to complex problems. Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques, which are central to the nursing profession. Other certifications may be required (i.e. BLS) Ability to evaluate problematic situations and be able to adapt and respond to resolve the situation/issue. Proficient in the use of computer and multiple software systems. Proficient in use of basic office equipment; multi-line phones; and data entry. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Supervision Provided by this Position The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units. Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
