Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical NurseCoordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care andcoordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with themanagement team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care inaccordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resourcefor staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience. What youwill do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team tocoordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality,patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and dischargeprocesses.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadershipteam to support improved outcomes and service.
• Providecoaching, feedback, and training to improve performance andengagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualificationsyou will need:

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursingor enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSNwithin 5 years of hire date into RN position. Grandfathering willbe accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.

Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO andreported out to the CNO Council members. Each facility will ensuretracking of exemptions should this information be needed. RNs with10 years or more of experience are exempt.•

Preferred Education:

Masters in Nursing.

• Required License/Certifications:

  Must haveand maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the NorthCarolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact)license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON

  BLS Healthcare Provider
