Assumes responsibilityfor an assigned group of patients.
Documents patient responses tonursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes allchanges in physician order on assigned patients.
Assists physicianin the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnosticprocedures and treatment.
Obtains and monitors physiological data ofpatients, observes the physiological manifestations of patients andintervenes when necessary.
Administers medication asprescribed.
Initiates, regulates and monitors intravenous infusionsand blood products.
Delivers patient care competently.
RequiredQualifications:
2-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-timeequivalent experienceGraduate of an accredited nursingprogram.
License, Certification, Registration:
Registered NurseLicense (in the state where care is provided)
