Job Description
Health Services Supervisor/School Nurse Mill River Unified Union School District North Clarendon, VT 05759 The Health Services Supervisor provides oversight in conjunction with the building principals and building nurses of the district health services program. She or he also provides nursing leadership with the School District.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisor of Student Health CareProvides oversight for the appropriate assessment and care of all MRUUSD studentsIn conjunction with the building principals determines the building-based nursing schedules based on the needs of the students and services requiredDetermines health care needs of students and develops health care plans as indicatedCoordinates annual mandated screening programsCompletes annual immunization audit and reportsInterprets health and developmental assessments to parents, teachers, and other appropriate professionalsProvides communicable disease control procedures and advises administration and parents regarding school exclusion and re-admittanceDelegates appropriate nursing tasks in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practiceDirectly supervises the Licensed Practical Nurses in the districtPlanner and coordinator of Student Health CareOversees the compiling and maintenance of appropriate health and statistical information:
