Delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of thenursing process. Available for assignment to duty on an ad hocbasis and in a various potential nursing units, usually to assistin times of unusually heavy workloads or to assume the duties ofabsent nursing personnel. Works collaboratively with other membersof the healthcare team to maintain standards for professionalnursing practice. Carries out functions according to medical centerpolicy, mission, and standards of practice as defined byprofessional and regulatory guidelines. Minimum Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. MinimumWork Experience
- 2 years experience in an acute care or specialtynursing setting including telemetry experience. RequiredLicenses/Certifications
- Licensed in the State of Vermont.
- BLSCertification through American Heart Association.
- BCLS Certified;must satisfactorily complete ACLS course according to subsidiaryguidelines. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, andskills.
- Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
