Legal Receptionist (Intake Coordinator) 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 300 Arba Street, Montgomery, AL 36104 We are searching for a Legal Receptionist (Intake Coordinator) for a law firm located in Montgomery. The Legal Receptionist (Intake Coordinator) will manage the front desk and ensure a positive experience for all, including assisting potential clients with their initial inquiries and facilitating the intake process.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee the daily office opening procedures (unlocking the office, preparing conference rooms, delivering morning mail, etc.) Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system Screen potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of the firm Manage all incoming and outgoing mail/packages Monitor and manage the inventory of office supplies Arrange food orders for lunches or special events Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials Collect potential client information and accurately summarize the call using MyCase Follow-up with potential clients as needed Manage referrals to/from other law firms Collaborate and communicate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth workflow Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information Perform other administrative functions as needed

What You’ll Need:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working in a legal office is preferred Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance Must have a friendly and welcoming personality Ability to work both independently and as part of a team The Legal Receptionist (Intake Coordinator) will adhere to a Monday-Friday schedule while working the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay range for the Legal Receptionist (Intake Coordinator) is $30k-$40k annually depending on experience and skills sets.
