Scheduling/Intake Coordinator Trellis Behavior and Learning Solutions 2361 Fairlane Drive, Montgomery, AL 36116 Job Summary As a Scheduling/Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling clients and therapists for ABA therapy sessions as well as managing referrals and facilitating the intake process for new patients. Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient information accurately and confidentially
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary documentation needed for insurance authorizations
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups efficiently
• Coordinate referrals from specialists or other healthcare providers
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Utilize electronic health record systems for scheduling, data entry, and retrieval
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Qualifications
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and good critical thinking skills are required
• Experience with children with disabilities
• Proficiency in typing and navigating computer systems
• Knowledge of medical coding and terminology is preferred
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Familiarity with medical scheduling software such as CentralReach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
