The Diet Clerk will provide nutritional/clerical support for inpatient and outpatient dietitians. English/Spanish preferred.

Description 1. Arranges community resources needed for patients and assists the Registered Dietitians by preparing necessary information needed for referrals, WIC, school programs, etc. 2. Documents interactions in Notes section of Electronic Medical Record. 3. Answers telephone calls from home health companies, WIC offices and schools and documents those interactions in the Telephone Interaction record. 4. Adds notes to electronic medical record detailing WIC/home health company prescriptions that have been completed. 5. Copies materials. Keep the Copy Room and other areas of the department neat and orderly. 6. Organizes and delivers donated formula stock to Registered Dietitian, when needed. 7. Accepts other assignments from Registered Dietitians when time permits, such as, typing, entering data, filing etc. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
