The ideal candidate will be the last point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires proficiency in various systems and documentation processes, ensuring smooth operations within the office. Responsibilities Check out patients and complete the patient tracking in the EMR. Schedule patient appointments within operational standards and documents appropriately. Collect outstanding balances, coinsurances, deductibles, copays and self pay balances that are owed at the time of checkout. Accurately post payments and provide receipts to patients. Reconcile individual daily receipts and money collected with end of day reports to confirm money balances and then prepare individual deposit. Collect end of day reports and deposits. Batch out daily. Notify and promote the patient portal with the patients. Notify and promote rating questionnaires. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical billing processes and insurance verification is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide outstanding patient service. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
