Full-Time Location:

Position Overview:

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for managing provider enrollment and credentialing processes. This role ensures accurate and timely submission of enrollment applications and maintains compliance with payer and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate submission and completion of provider enrollment applications. Track progress and follow up to ensure timely establishment of provider numbers. Understand payer-specific application requirements, including necessary forms, documentation (DEA, license, CV, etc.), and regulations. Maintain accurate records and reports related to provider enrollment. Retain documentation related to completed applications in accordance with company policy. Work closely with providers to expedite form completion, obtain signatures, and collect required documentation. Update and maintain provider information within the credentialing database. Ensure all credentialing files are current, including medical licenses, board certifications, liability insurance, DEA registrations, and other required credentials. Manage re-credentialing applications for providers with affiliated facilities and payers.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in medical credentialing (Required) Minimum of 2 years in provider enrollment (Required) Payer experience (Required) Experience in a multi-specialty setting (Preferred)

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines Effective prioritization and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and efficiently
