Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks and managing appointments efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Medical administrative support
- Patient service experience
- Office experience, especially in a medical setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Job overview:
- Answering multi-line phone system. High volume
- Scheduling patients for either pulse-oximetry testing or home sleep testing.
Explain the testing process and insurance benefits. Make sure patient is knowledgeable of the testing conditions and how to use the testing equipment. Collecting registration paperwork and payment. Calling patients with devices delivered to prompt them to test. Calling patients pending return to prompt device return. Helping the logistics department with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Work with referral sources to ensure all required information is received.
