Job Summary Baptist Medical Center is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Patient Access Representative II at our Southbank Plaza location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a full-time day shift position Monday•Friday from 8:30 AM•5:00 PM. This position is in a call center environment. In this position they will be taking full ownership of the tasks related to this position and provides successful outcomes that will enhance the reputation of Baptist Health and ensures a first positive impression from a patient experience perspective. As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for: Registering patients accurately and efficiently
Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
