Job Description:
The Coordinator, Records coordinates the Records area under the supervision of the Registrar. This position directly supervises highly complex tasks performed by clerical staff in the Records area to ensure that the College remains compliant with College Policy, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements. The Coordinator maintains the accuracy and confidentiality of records while conforming to federal and state guidelines; works with the Director of Admissions to ensure the proper admission and initial registration of students in all academic departments at the College and the Charter Academy; and oversees the procedures for the evaluation of non-traditional educational experiences such as military service, the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations, departmental exemption exams, prior learning assessment, the internal articulation of previous institutional vocational credits, the external articulation of non-traditional educational experiences, etc. Reports to the College Registrar.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree. The ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
ANNUAL SALARY
$39,500.00 – $44,500.00
