MIND Intake Coordinator Job Summary This position is the initial contact for the MIND Institute. Responsible for receiving incoming calls and correspondence. Screens inquiries and coordinates all patient appointments for MIND. Collaborate with other MJH service lines to Reports to VP Physician Services with additional reporting responsibilities to the Director of Sales. Essential Job Functions Answers incoming calls and correspondence Screens calls for patient needs, fit to MIND services and financial coverage Coordinates referrals to other MJH services as appropriate Maintains information on all inquiries into CRM system. Onboards new patients (patient forms, insurance coverage, etc.) Make appointments Prep documentation for appointments Post-appointment follow-up Documentation upload Appointments – internal and external Coordinate referrals to MJH and community resources Represents
MIND/MJH
at community events Participates in general MJH business development activities as required
Job Requirements Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
3 years intake/registration/scheduling in a medical setting required Business development or sales experience strongly preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
N/A Abilities Required Bi-lingual in English and Spanish Demonstrate broad knowledge of MIND and MJH service lines Knowledge of medical insurance coverages, including authorizations Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and collaboration skills Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, appropriate task prioritization and time management skills. Ability to work under stress Ability to work independently Maintains ethical behavior Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling programs
