Job Description Contacts patients who are referred by various referral sources for pain management to schedule them for a New Patient appointment. Puts patient demographics into the computer and ensures proper records are uploaded to the patient’s chart prior to being seen in the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Process new referrals into the EMR.
Contact patients to make appointments in a timely manner.
Return voicemail messages.
Send consultation notes back to the referring provider after the patient is seen.
Pull and sort faxes.
Answer incoming calls from patients, doctor’s offices and insurance companies.
Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations as needed.
Call patients to remind them of their upcoming consultation appointment.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, paid time off and full health/dental/vision coverage available.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Must understand general insurance questions.
