Provider Enrollment Coordinator Position Available In Orange, Florida

Description We are in search of a Provider Enrollment Coordinator to join our team within the Healthcare/Insurance industry based in Central Florida. As a Provider Enrollment Coordinator, you will be tasked with working directly with physician practices, handling confidential data, and coordinating with insurance companies on behalf of the client. This is a contract to hire remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process physician practices insurance data
• Effectively utilize insurance websites to resolve outstanding insurance issues
• Manage the process of insurance follow-up to secure insurance policies
• Prioritize work on time-sensitive accounts
• Maintain strong phone communication skills for incoming/outgoing calls with physician practices, insurance companies, and doctors
• Investigate and be proactive through research for corrective measures
• Retrieve and re-file documents for Insurance requests as needed
• Update incorrect physician practices information following research
• Compile information and create spreadsheets for insurance follow-up
• Fill out insurance applications on behalf of physicians and their practices
• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
• Proficiency in Internal Software Programs is mandatory, with a focus on healthcare and insurance systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Capability to handle multiple accounts effectively, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is available and accurate.
• Experience with managing Insurance Policies, including verification of insurance coverages and obtaining necessary data.
• Demonstrated competence in interpersonal communication and coordination skills.
• Have basic knowledge of the healthcare industry.
