Dental Insurance/Credentialing Coordinator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Boca Raton, FL 33487 Insurance Coordinator provides support for all insurance related duties of the office. This position is responsible for the Insurance Aging Report and collecting patient overdue balances. This position processes insurance and patient payments and ongoing communications with insurance carriers and patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Manage the insurance aging report § Post insurance checks and proper adjustments as needed § Communicate with patients and insurance carriers regarding payments § Collect patient overdue balances § Manage collections and receivables to achieve revenue goals § Actively seek solutions when payment issues arise § Maintain a clean and neat working area § Adhere to uniform and dress code policy § Perform additional duties as assigned

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

§ Ability to write clearly, concisely, logically, and legibly § Demonstrate accuracy in spelling and basic mathematics § Speak, understand and write grammatically correct English § Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills § Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Dentistry including dental terminology and dental coding. § Knowledge of insurance plans, ability to read and analyze insurance Explanation of Benefits. § Demonstrates exceptional human relation skills § Ability to assess issues and seek resolutions § Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
