Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist

Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486 We are seeking a detail-oriented and Fertility experienced Insurance and Authorization specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a medical setting with experience in insurance verification and authorization. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel fertility patients regarding their Insurance benefits
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Obtain Insurance authorizations
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding patients.
- Collect payments from patients. ## Experience (Fertility or OB-GYN experience preferred,)
- 1-2 years of Previous experience in medical billing and collections
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong understanding of medical records management
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of medical billing software systems is a plus, including
