Job Description
Description We are looking for a meticulous Medical Payment Poster Specialist to join our team on a Contract-to-Ongoing basis. This role involves ensuring accurate processing of medical payments and maintaining precise patient records in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in medical billing and a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointment schedules for medical providers using Nextech, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate and process invoices for medical services and products using the clinic’s management system.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient communications, including loyalty programs, discounts, and prepaid packages.
- Update and verify patient information, treatment details, and appointment schedules to ensure records are complete and precise.
- Serve as a knowledgeable representative of the practice, effectively communicating provider qualifications and services to patients.
- Assist in executing special marketing or sales initiatives as assigned by the management team.
- Collaborate with staff members to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic in all tasks to uphold the practice’s high standards. Requirements
- Proficiency in medical scheduling and billing software, including experience with Nextech or similar systems.
- Prior experience working in the cosmetic or elective surgery industry is highly desirable.
- Strong familiarity with cosmetic surgery terminology and procedures.
- Competency in creating and processing detailed invoices in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Skilled in using basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and database management tools.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
