Thank you for your interest in BayCare Health System Registrar. We are hosting an interview day on 5/15/25 from 9AM-1PM at Morton Plant Hospital for Morton Plant Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital Registrar.

• This is a patient-facing position with most openings in the Emergency Room where patients are at different levels of needing care. Our Registrars are the first to second faces that our patients may see, and this position requires patient-focused customer service.

• Currently, openings have varying shift hours including nights, overnights, and weekends.

Status include:

full time, part time, and PRN (as needed with the largest amount of openings that could lead to ft or pt positions).

• Summary:

• The Registrar I may be responsible for any of the following:
• Registration, Customer Service, Insurance Verification, Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Bed Control, Cashier or Reception.

• Qualities and Skills:

• + Must demonstrate proficiency in at least three of the modalities above within 6 months of hire (one must be Registration) + Successful completion of additional modalities within department may qualify team member for career advancement (Registrar Career Ladder) + Computer skills appropriate to the position + Work independently and with a team + Organizational skills + May be required to rotate shift periodically and take call + Perform other duties as assigned • Must be able to attend a mandatory 15-day training in Clearwater, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
