POSITION SUMMARY•Remote Trauma Registrar•Part Time

POSITION DUTIES

•Abstracting

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•
High school degree (or equivalent)
2+ years’ experience as a Trauma Registrar/Abstractor
2+ years of experience with Level 1 or 2 Trauma Centers
1 year in Health Information Management
ICD 10 data abstractor system experience
AIS 15 Course
Trauma Registry Course
EMR/Registries in DI or CDM (trauma)
Meditech Expanse or Epic or Cerner EMR experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Coding or Health Registry abstraction experience; Certified in CSTR or CAISS; Undergraduate (Associates or Bachelor) degree or successful completion of a certified coding program; RHIA, RHIT, CSS, LVN or RN

•6 months

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK

•Part Time Only. Flexible hours as long as available for training during normal business hours.
