Apply today! The Intake Coordinator receives and analyzes incoming referral and order calls while effectively communicating patient/referral information to appropriate teams. Obtains demographic and clinical information from clients, physician’s offices, and other referral sources to compile referrals. Verifies new referring physician licenses on referrals taken in department. Researches coverage or pay source for each referral and verifies commercial policies and HIQA. Educates prospective patients, families, physicians, and hospitals regarding home health services available. Serves as a liaison between clinical and marketing staff. Minimum of high school education or G.E.D. Minimum of one (1) year experience in office procedures. Minimum of one (1) year insurance/medical experience.
