The Intake Specialist will play a crucial role in managing patient interactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process within our medical office. This position requires strong customer service skills, proficiency in office management, and familiarity with medical administrative support systems. Duties Manage phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information about services. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Input data accurately using 10 key typing skills into Meditech or other electronic health record systems. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and maintaining organized patient records. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient needs. Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
