Job Description Duties include, but are not limited to: Provides clerical support to the Admissions Unit Assists with the observation / monitoring of adult individuals with mental health issues Registers individuals, obtaining demographic information and obtaining consents and insurance information Demonstrates a working knowledge of computer software Operates multiple-line phone system Learns new software programs Communicates with staff, individuals, and outside customers Works in Avatar and the electronic Behavioral Health Link (BHL) Board for referrals made to GA Regional Hospital at Savannah Obtains vital signs on Adult Mental Health individuals. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the State qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills/experience: High school diploma with at least 2 years’ clerical experience Proficient in MS Office Suite Experience working in Outlook emailing and calendaring Extensive internet skills and knowledge Experience with PeopleSoft a plus but not required Experience working in Avatar a plus but not required Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment Good phone etiquette, message-taking, and time management skills Detail-oriented and excellent follow-through skills.
