RESPONSIBLE FOR
Processing applications for appointment/reappointment privileges for Piedmont Healthcare affiliated facilities. Applications are processed in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, applicable policies, applicable accreditation standards, and state and federal law.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One year experience in healthcare credentialing or healthcare clerical role with a working knowledge of the credentialing function. Cactus software knowledge preferred Computer literacy with word processing software
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
CPCS certification
