Are you an experienced Outpatient Access Specialist looking for a new opportunity with a large well known Non-Profit Hospital? This position will be working for a Nationally Ranked hospital. We are looking for healthcare professionals with great customer service, a passion for patient care, and professional demeanors. This position will be responsible for the following responsibilities including but not limited to patient registration, greeting patients and visitors, and scheduling appointments. We are looking for a qualified Outpatient Access Specialist to join our growing team! Must have EPIC experience! This position is M-F 7:30am-4:00pm located in 30309.

salary:

$17 – $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM – 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Responsible for accurate and timely follow up and collections of Patient Accounts as assigned. Outpatient Registration
Insurance Verification
Utilizing EPIC for patient registration and scheduling functions Collect complete referral intake information on new patients
Greeting patients and visitors
Checking in / Checking Out patients
Collecting and verifying insurance
Collect new patient forms and establish patient updated forms and demographics
Answering office phone calls
Collecting balances, co-pays, and payments
Scheduling appointments for office visits Scanning, naming, and filing documents and medical records Ensures patient referrals are obtained as required by managed care plans
Provides necessary release and HIPAA forms to the patient for completion and signature
Answers emails and voicemails and returns patient calls Skills
