Position:

This position is responsible for obtaining referral authorizations from insurance companies to ensure patients can get scheduled.

Primary duties consist of:

Manage the intake and distribution of referrals to ensure entry into the scheduling process Compilation of information for database entry and distribution Enter data into multiple databases Create, prepare, and update electronic medical records Create and process patient charts for entry into databases and servers Prepare and distribute patient and physician correspondence regarding appointment status Contact patients to provide information regarding the insurance precertification process Faxing information to physician offices and other faxing as needed Performing word processing, copying as needed Create and distribute daily and weekly data reports as requested

Qualifications and Experience:

High school diploma or GED Experience in a medical setting preferred Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly High level of organization and accuracy Neurocare, Inc. EOE
