SUMMARY The Scheduling Representative schedules designated Primary Care, Specialty/Subspecialty, and Radiology outpatient visits within Grady Health system. Performs the scheduling function in a high volume, fully computerized environment. Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospital personnel, medical staff, and physician offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required. High School diploma or GED required Prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient access, billing, customer service or health care is required. Inbound high volume call center experience is preferred. Must be able to accurately type a minimum of 50 WPM. Must possess data entry and customer service skills and a clear and present speaking voice. Must possess general knowledge of radiological procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing, and other related functions. Medical assistant or CPAR certification is preferred. Billing preferred Knowledge of medical terminology is highly preferred. Knowledge of Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens Invision health information system, word processing, and spreadsheet programs is preferred.
