American Health Imaging is actively searching for a Patient Service Representative Supervisor to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. This position is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm The Patient Service Representative Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment for all patients, families, and visitors while performing the requested duties. These duties will include interviewing patients and/or families to obtain all demographic and financial information, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying patient insurance, explaining financial responsibility to patient or patient representative, and collecting same-day payments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manages the training and onboarding of new team members Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-ones Monitors and approves timecards Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations and on-going development of team members including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/ or terminations when necessary Defines job responsibilities/specialty tasks and priorities Develops and monitors the teams’ performance through a QA process Establishes employee schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate department coverage (5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Education and Experience:
