You play a pivotal role in ensuring patients have a great experience from the moment they call to make an appointment. Job Responsibilities Greet patients in an upbeat and friendly manner. Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Collect co-payments, balances and surgery deposits. Verify insurance coverage. Answering phones and checking voicemail Update patient information in the system. Work as a team to ensure that all job functions are complete. New patient registration. Scheduling referrals in a timely manner. Required Qualifications
ATHENA EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
Superior customer service and a willingness to help others. Strong comfort level with direct and indirect patient interaction. Extremely comfortable collecting money from patients. Strong computer skills. Must be a team player, personable, assertive and confident. Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to support change in a new and fast growing orthopaedic practice. Willing to work out of both locations (Stockbridge & Griffin).
