Requirements:
Excellent communication skills Time management and organizational skills Knowledge of Microsoft applications Familiar with EHR systems Familiar with insurance verification 2 years experience (preferred) BLS/CPR certification Have reliable transportation
Core Duties:
Check and monitor daily schedules for multiple providers utilizing many different insurance carriers. Collect and accurately record patient information. Verify and facilitate necessary medical information has been obtained prior to patient appointments. Accurately and efficiently check patients in and out. Accurately receive and record patient co-pays. Perform call reminders for upcoming appointments. Support ongoing changes and work collaboratively with providers and co-workers.
