Job Summary
Manages the curriculum team and oversees all related processes including curriculum origination and revisions, catalog publication and inquiries, course scheduling, curriculum inventory reporting, codification of programs and courses, and serves as point of contact for all curriculum processes and policies.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to

ACADEMIC SCHEDULING

Lead and manage the course scheduling calendar creation, collection, review, and production and audit of the academic schedule for each academic term. Establish andmunicate scheduling timelines and deadlines across campus. Serve as the primary contact for academic units regarding course scheduling policies and procedures. Design and conduct training sessions for faculty and staff involved in academic scheduling. Create and audit final exam schedules. Implement and refine scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Maintain term data and schedule structures in Banner, including auditing for accuracy. Serve as the functional administrator ensuring all policies and procedures for course scheduling are maintained.

ACADEMIC SCHEDULING

(CONT) Coordinate with campus departments (Bookstore, Classroom Scheduling, Advising) to maintain uptodate instructions for requirements for their systems. Troubleshoot class scheduling issues andmunicating resolutions with relevant departments. Collaborate with Classroom Scheduling to release the class schedule. Manage the auditing of course data for official reporting through the Academic Data Collection twice per term. Manage the collection of High Impact Practice Data and ensure the accuracy of the reporting. Oversee the calendar andmunication for curriculum Inventory ing.

SOFTWARE ADMINISTRATION & SYSTEM SUPPORT

Act as subject matter expert and primary administrator for scheduling provide guidance for BANNER Best Practices for scheduling. Develop user guides, documentation, and training for staff and faculty on BANNER and CIR. Lead testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of software updates or new scheduling tools.

STRATEGIC PLANNING & LEADERSHIP

Contribute to the strategic planning and operational goals of the Office of the Registrar. Rmend and implement policy and procedural changes to improve scheduling. Lead andor participate in critical projects and initiatives within the department. Serve on relevant campusmittees or task forces representing scheduling interests.

COURSE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Oversee the collection, maintenance, and updates of course inventory in Banner. Support academic planning by reviewing and updating academic course data in BANNER in collaboration with academic units.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain content on the Registrar’s related to scheduling. Support other Registrar initiatives and projects. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Registrar or Associate Registrar. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with two years’ relevant work experience OR Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with five years’ relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CURRICULOG, acalog, and BANNER student information system. Certification for CURRICULOG and Acalog.
Experience in BANNER, Xtender, DegreeWorks and with record management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and otherputer softwaredatabases Knowledge of USG and university policies and procedures
