In this role you will:
Review and manage Epic referral work queue for therapy intakes and psychiatric evaluations. Filter referral work queue in Epic and follow the Referral Guidelines Policy. Document and update the referral prior to closing. Verify demographics and insurance information using online portals. Update information in Epic. Refer patients to enrollment coordinator, as needed. Use Epic functions and PureCloud to notify providers of referrals and appointments. Schedule (or reschedule) initial or follow-up appointments for patients. Communicate and work with patients, providers, and pharmacies to ensure medication refills are handled in a timely manner. Access Epic to use in-basket function to notify providers of refill requests.
The successful applicant will offer:
Prior experience with health care operations preferred Experience in continuous improvement leading, implementing, and sustaining change initiatives, preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and managed health care plans preferred Please apply now and grow with LCHC Thank you!
